Southern Gospel

We need southern gospel brought back to south ga. The old wsbx 1020 am may be a good catch being it is not on the air and for some reason the FCC wont pull the license. It has not been on the air for years and bet it will not return on the air anytime soon. you may also could get a lp fm licence for night time coverage if the right owner bought it. If nothing else go old country or southern gospel.

Just a Thought

A licensee would not be able to legally re-broadcast WSBX-AM over an LPFM signal. However, WSBX can re-broadcast over an FM translator which may actually be a much better choice since LPFM is limited to 100 watts at 100 feet while translators are allowed up to 250 watts with no maximum antenna height. In the right situation one could theoretically create a class C3 coverage footprint with a translator.

Thanks thats right a translator it works out good for wpax in south ga

It's would be a good idea for an FM Translator if it reaches the Tallahassee area for WPAX-AM 1240. Does WPAX-AM still does the Atanta Braves Baseball games? I know 93.9 from Mourte Ga. does it too but its doesnt reach Tallahassee very well.
