Sox on WPRO

Forgive me if this has already been discussed: In listening to the Sox on WPRO the last couple of nights, I've noticed they cut off the end of each inning... when Joe or Jerry say "on the WEEI Red Sox Radio Network". Obviously it's because WEEI is another station in the market. Is that allowed, or does it violate the rules of the affiliate contract?
