Spanish Christian Radio Network from Miami

About two years ago, WSOH-FM 88.3/104.7 in Louisville, Kentucky carried a satellite Spanish Christian network for a few months before the station was sold to EMF Media to carry Air 1. The Spanish network was from Miami and mainly aired Spanish CCM music. Does anyone know the name of this network? Is the network live streaming? Does it have a website?
Edited by The RadioFan on 10/02/05 01:20 PM.

Any chance this might show up on WSOP-LP or WXLN-LP? Both have a much better signal in Shelbyville than WSOH does. (Interesting that the WXLN calls are brought back to life 30 miles down the road from its previous residence, which is now WLRS.)
______________

Wow, that's news to me concerning WXLN-LP. I didn't know that WXLN-LP exists.
What city is the station licensed to? What is the frequency of the station?
It would make sense to have a Spanish CCM station in that area, especially, since WTSZ-FM 105.7 in Eminence is doing Spanish and there are reports that Clear Channel will place Spanish programming on 101.7 FM in Shelbyville. I am sure that there is an audience for a Spanish CCM in that area. They probably need to have a Spanish CCM on the air before Clear Channel debuts Spanish on 101.7. What type of programming is currently aired on WSOP-LP and WXLN-LP?

WSOP will be on 93.7 and has yet to take the air. It is owned by Abundant Life, Inc. The tower will be between Shelbyville and Waddy.

WXLN will be on 93.3 and has yet to take the air. It is owned by Bullock's Christian Broadcasting Corporation. The tower looks to be near the junction of Washington Street and Eminence Pike.

WSOP will cut into the southwestern fringe of WFCJ (Inspo) in Dayton. WXLN will cut into the southwestern fringe of WAKW (Christian AC) in Cincinnati.

I don't know but did you know that there was for a long time a secular Spanish K-Love in Houston 106.5FM. Which came first the secular station or the Christian one?

Any word on the new frequencies in Shelbyville, Kentucky? I am wondering if WXLN will be similar to the CCM format in the early 90s on 105.7 FM. I remember in the early 90s when WXLN was on 105.7 in Eminence as a CCM. The music was fairly decent as they played a wide range of music, from CCM Pop to CCM Rhythmic. Their playlist contained songs like DC Talk's "Nu Thang," Michael W. Smith's "Place in this World" and Rance Allen's "Miracle Worker." After doing a Sunday morning Christian rock "Higher Power" show on Rock 102 (WLRS) in Louisvlle from the late 80s until 1991, Phil Sterling moved the Christian Rock show to WXLN-FM 105.7 on Saturday nights. WXLN-FM 105.7 simulcasted on 1080 AM in Louisville for a short period of time.
