Spanish-language switcheroo in Indianapolis

Continental Broadcast Group has announced that it will start an LMA of WNTS 1590, and will run that station alongside WSYW 810 and WEDJ 107.1. Consequently, Continental will flip WNTS to "a high-energy Latin Hits format" on November 4th--and will have WSYW do Spanish-language Christmas stunting in November and December.

See the press release, at both http://www.insideindianabusiness.com/newsitem.asp?ID=61970 (original) and http://www.mediaconfidential.blogspot.com/2013/10/indy-radio-wnts-1590-am-to-flip-to.html (slight rewrite).

The tone of this article suggests that Spanish language programming is new to this station. Nowhere does it state that WNTS is currently a direct competitor with WEDJ with its regional Mexican format.
