Spanish on 945

ci senor

Thought maybe there was some Spanish-language hip hop or whatever.
Sometimes as I go through the dial I'll hear Spanish on 1510 then think, ah, it must be
the late innings or postgame show of their Red Sox in Spanish...

WZMX-FM of Hartford, a.k.a. HOT 93.7, plays some reggaeton on Sunday evenings. I don't know how long the show is, since you wouldn't pay to me to listen to that stuff.

They've been hosting that show for a long time, since they became "Jamn" back in 1994?

To clarify, I believe they started a program back in mid-2005 or so called "Reggaeton Jams", from Midnight-2am Mondays. That was at about the same time that genre of "music" (if you want to call it that) blew up and became very popular. It was originally hosted by Pup Dawg and Roy Barboza. I'm not sure who hosts it now, since Roy moved on, or how the program has evolved over the years.
