spanish Pirate on 91.9

driving home from work yesterday. Heard a really strong Spanish Pirate up in Patterson/ Clifton area all the way south to Union
on 91.9 MONO.... on the GSP.
Where oh where is Mr Noel and company. Dont think he Knows about this one yet.
Time to dig out the Doppler ant again.

Ralph..

There are plenty of other pirates besides 91.9. The FCC won't shut it down even if you give its exact address.

i was trying to use my ipod last night in the car with my little fm belkin transmitter thing.... i had zero luck.

usually 104.7 is my first choice, but the caribbean pirates killed it. i tried 89.3 and dhoom fm was coming in too clear in new brunswick last night... 91.9 out of parlin was stronger than usual too. 99.9, 96.7, 107.9 weren't much help either with jewish techno and loud, over modulated voices shouting.

Jewish techno? That's a new one. I know 99.9 is russian, but hey, I gotta hear this "jewish techno." :D

or maybe it was russian... i remember a really strong jewish pirate that killed northern monmouth towards the middletown train station last summer and fall on 96.7. it wasn't techno though.

Seems everyone is attacking WQXR, first Streetz 96, and now pirates killing the W244AS transmitter. I wonder what is Streetz gonna do come the frequency swap of QXR and La Kalle this thursday.

The pirate you heard in northern Monmouth is probably from Brooklyn, the high powered pirates have no problem making it 20 miles over the water.

It is a legitimate channel and it is an available frequency dependi g upon where your transmitetr is.
Maybe there wouldn't be pirates on 91.9 if WBGD in Wall was ever on the air. FCC rules state that you loose your license if you are off the air for a year (not that they even enforce them anymore).
