Dear Cap'n Dillweed,
I think an ethnic farm show would be especially good. Let me think...who would perfect to host it, hmmmmm.

It'll happen. Eventually. Don't forget, Wilkes Barre/Scranton
had its first anti war Vietnam demonstration in late 1971, about
5 years after Berkley. So just be patient.

P.S. And that End of the World thing, this is the place you
want to be when that happens. It'll get to us a few years after
the actual event. As the Stones said, at least in this instance,
"Time Is On My Side".

Gee Captain, how about you lead this issue by example? Sounds like a wonderful idea.

As The Yonk said, it will happen eventually-----right now it isn't feasible, but as soon as somebody sees there's a buck to be made it will happen.

The Route 81 station in Hazleton WAZL had several hours of spanish language programming on weekends. I believe that WAZL also brodcast school closings and emergency announcements in English and Spanish. They canned the GM, Mr. Ward, and I believe the Spanish programming went away with most of the other local programming such as local news and weather when 81 changed leadeship.

The spanish programming on WAZL continues as it has been since June of 2004. It runs Saturday afternoons from 3-5pm and is done live and local. Just as the news and weather is also done there. If you're going to blabber, know what you're blabbering about.

Stick with english...you're equally as useless in both.
