Spatula City

Ok, I heard the Spatula City commercial on WGST today. Havent heard it in forever. They played it during the Rush Limbaugh rebroadcast on Sunday. It must have gone on for a solid minute. Sounds like they ran it twice in a row. What in the world is this? Im not a radio insider, so can someone please explain why they play a spot like this?

Wow, these are still running on Rush's national feed? Back in the day...1989....on WVLD in Valdosta, sometimes we would not be able to fill the breaks...in that case, we would stay with the national feed of Rush. It contained that same "spot"....

It's also on the soundtrack album of the same. It should be downloadable from any means you choose.

I last heard it on air when WGST last had the simulcast on 105.7 and they would replay the day's Rush show on overnights. Also lots of other stuff like Paul Shanklin stuff.
