Syndicated Tom Joyner, the ultimate radio "Fly Jock," headed for mornings at KKBT, the BEAT & the John Salley Block Party is coming to an end next month.

Total flop when he was on KACE. I expect the same on The Beat. Idiotic move but what else would one expect from Radio One.

I wonder who will take credit -- er, responsibility -- for the amount of outside promotion for Salley's show over the past several months.
______________

No one. In Radio One's case, everything is micro managed at the top(yes, the Washington DC brass micro manage all their properties.)

Anyways, I knew RO was looking to get Joyner on in LA. And they wern't going to settle for no either. People are right, it won't work for KKBT, but Radio One doesn't care, they want to have the bragging rights to national advertisers "Oh Yes, Joyner is on in LA" so they can make more money off his show.

You know what's sad about it is all these companies throw huge amounts of money at Celeberties to get them to host morning and afternoon shows when they could have spent that same money developing 4 or 5 other jock's careers. It's stupid, I tell you.
______________
