...Does anyone have any idea what happened to Quinn and Canterra? or Mike Brangiforte? Are they "On The Beach" or did anyone lad up at HEB, or Lazer 99.. anything at all? I know QandC were on a few stations up north so I dont know if they landed up there or not, just curious, all this recent HJY talk has made me wonder what happened. Sux for Brangiforte, first KKB and then HJY... Bet he is thinkin he never should have left AAF.

Annual Clear Channel axe I believe.

They arn't called "Cheap Channel" for nothing. But it's unfair to single them out. The biggest and the best corporations in Broadcasting are losing money like crazy! If it was your company you would be cutting corners as well.

They're also not together as a team anymore. I think Quinn went back to college. Don't know about Cantara.

Quinn went back to college? hmmm..... I'm on the fence about that. Is that a good move for someone in broadcasting (or) does that pretty much say I'm giving up on a career in Radio?

Quinn used to be a commodities broker so he's no dummy. It's a good move if you want to give up on radio. It's ironic though that this happened with a team that actually has talent and the ability to entertain, whether you like their act or not. I think maybe some of those who really do have something to offer in radio may be the ones most disgruntled about the way things are going. Your basic liner card run of the mill jock with computer skills and not much more will hang on longer because he has less to be disgruntled about. He considers himself lucky. The talented ones will feel they're just not getting their due and leave which is too bad for the industry.

Quinn should have stayed a broker, Cantara carried them anyway. Also think about it who really listens to the radio at night? Mostly people who are listening just want to hear music, that show was a Morning or Afternoon drive not weeknights.
