Jim Pruett is still very much active in the city of Houston. He owns Jim Pruett's Guns and Ammo shop in northwest Houston, and sponsors a concealed handgun license class every month. Oh, yeah. He's also still on the radio. One of the old KLOL jocks that went with Cumulus for the launch of KIOL/KFNC. He is on 97.5 KFNC every weekday from 2pm-5pm with Brian Shannon and Laurie Kendrick. You might know Brian Shannon best as Eddie "The Boner" Sanchez. Mark Stevens is still on the Houston airwaves as well. He does a mid day show on KXYZ-AM 1320 with a lady named Cleverly. Wendy Miller is now at KIOL, as is "Outlaw" Dave Andrews. Many of the old faces of KLOL are now a part of KIOL/KFNC (Cumulus Houston) since their inception in February 2005. Two exceptions are Steve Fixx, who is PD for KIOL competitor KKRW; and Kevin Dorsey, who sadly passed away a couple of years back.
