SPEAKING OF IMUS......

does anyone know of the existence of the short lived IMUS PLUS Metromedia TV series which aired on Saturday nights (against the original Saturday Night Live, foolishly) in 1979/80?....there must be evidence of this somewhere: full disclosure;
Jimi La Lumia & the Psychotic Frogs were guests one week during "Death To Disco" mania, and I kicked his butt:
Imus:
"Jimi, how'd you like to have a big time DJ manage your career?"
Jimi:
"Sounds great, Don; do you know any?"
you HAD to be there; it was the beta max era, and I only have color photos of our 'exchange',taken from the studio audience area...
if someone can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated

...try a year earlier. WFRV/5 Green Bay ran the thing in the summer of '78. Watchable only if you had memories of what Imus had done in '70-'73...

my brain is fried when it comes to what year, but I'd love to find a copy of the Imus Meets The Psychotic Frogs segment
it was Metromedia's national network, Channel 5 in NY, before Fox, I got mail from all over the country, (became a hopeless alkie a year later)
