I actually saw him do stand-up comedy at the comedy club in Oceanside, California right after he was dropped by KFMB. I distinctly remember that part of his routine had to do with him not being at channel 8 anymore and how there's two categories of people associated with the station: 1) Current employees who agree with Ted Leitner, and 2) Former employees who disagree with Ted Leitner.

Larry did a standup act after his last broadcast, too. I remember it was a very bitter monologue and not funny.
