Now from what I understand, Andy's a really nice guy who got the shaft years ago and given the choice to be prod director, or not have a job with Forever. Thanks Carol for the favor! But what is with the constant pukiness of his spots? I find myself making fun of the commercials constantly....

I've only met on e or twoce but hisVO skills need to change and yes I to laugh my but off when I hear the commercials in the fact there almost so bad there funny
 
You should have heard him when he was on the air at Majic 104 DOT nine. Just terrible.

Forever is going to get a wake-up call one of these days, when the rights holders to some of the music they are using in their spots come calling. TV theme songs, oldies, etc., none of that stuff can be used without permission and money changing hands. Most often, you can get by with it, but if it's discovered, somebody is going to have to open up the wallet.
 
It appears that "avert listener" has some spelling difficulties. It is "they're", not "there". And this guy criticizes someone else?
 
This Berkowitz name sounds familiar. Was he involved in a subway incident in NYC some years back or did he have something to do with Son-Of-Sam or is this guy the famous lawyer who defended Von Bulow?

I am constantly baffled by why people feel the need to anonymously demean people that they do not know. Does posting negative comments about someone make you feel big and powerful? “radiotruth75”, can you explain why you have the right to post hurtful comments about a man who puts his heart into his work. A man who has a work ethic far greater than anyone that I have ever met before. You may not like his production, I can accept that, but to publicly humiliate him is nothing short of sad. If you would be so kind to post some of your work I think we would all like to hear what makes you such an authority. Even if you were the best producer in the world, your post has shown as that you are nothing but a small and shallow man/woman. Maybe next time you should think about the people you are posting about before throwing them under a bus. Some people may deserve it, others (like Andy) most certainly do not!

Mark get your head out from in between someone's frog legs and listen. Andy needs to evolve a bit, as does Forever Broadcasting. Pukey isn't in; Nor are liner jocks. I actually feel bad that he was given the choice to be the production guy in Toonaland, or he would be let go. Politics..ahh gotta love it. Maybe you don't know that story though :-\ And as of now I'm making this officially, a "No Frog Zone"
 
"RadioTruth75", You really don't get it do you. The reason for my post was simple. You are entitled to your opinion regarding production and what you perceive as "in". What you did was make a personal attack on someone who you don't know and who doesn't deserve it.

I hate to break it to you but I'm not under any "frog legs" (I'm sure you wish I was)... I'm just a prod guy who respects other people in the industry because I know how hard it is, and that the only reward is personal satisfaction and pride, something I may add you seem very eager to take away.

I don't post here often. But after reading this post. I feel that something needs to be said.

First and foremost Andy Berkowitz is a good friend of mine. Until you know him personally do not knock him. As far as his production. Andy is one of the best! So please leave Andy alone!

Knowing him personally doesn't have anything to do with a critique of his ability. If I knew him, would that make me like his style? Of course not. On these forums, it's apparently only ok to pat people on the back and compliment them. Listen, I'm sure he's a nice guy. This is a radio discussion board. He's on the radio. His abilities are open to discussion. Rather than telling us that he's a nice guy and "one of the best", why don't you tell us why you think he's one of the best?
 
I don't know if Berkowitzel pulls an airshift or only does production but I would suggest if he doesn't do a shift, he should and he should be on during the book. If his air slot gets half athe attnetion\mention/listeners as this post does, he should do well in the ARB's.
