Although we're unable to post actual numbers here...

With the 100 watt signal, WMPH did VERY well-- outperforming more than just a small handful in Wilmington! (Also outperforming or on-par with a lot of the 'big' commercial dance stations)

Congratulations to Kris, Clint and the crew!

This is the first chance I've had to say this... I swung up the east coast about a month ago and I actually had a chance to finally pick up WMPH on my car radio (and for a while, because I got lost in Wilmington... lol). It was a little strange to hear dance music sandwiched in among some of the other programming... I remember hearing something like Mynt or Deborah Cox, followed by an old guy hosting a talk show about gardening or something... LOL never a dull moment on non-comm radio sometimes! Anyway, glad to hear the station (and dance!) is doing well in Wilmington... keep up the good work!

Well, it would be interesting to see if the next period results in a similar showing. If it does-- maybe more of a full-service approach is the secret to programming dance!
______________

so... BDS/Mediabase

So now that WMPH is outperforming or equaling the performance of at least 2 BDS and 2 Mediabase dance panel terrestrial stations (as far as the 12+ market share), shouldn't they now be considered for monitoring status?

(and shouldn't Kris be getting job offers soon? lol)
______________
