Special report: Minnesota protests

I don't even remember how long it has been since Mike Moss (or whoever was doing it at the time) started his top of the hour newscast with anything other than "Special report: coronavirus".

I was correct. This is the protest that included the signs "I can't breathe". I found it interesting that half a page of one newspaper was devoted to the protests and had a sign in a photo saying that, while the other half was devoted to COVID-19.

I wonder when the last time was that this was true? Giles Snyder on NPR didn't mention COVID-19 once at 10:00. It is true that WFAE switched to their local newscast when they usually do, and there was news about local protests. An hour later, the newscaster did mention COVID-19 before the opportunity to go to a local newscast, but WFAE did not do that and there was more COVID-19 news.

In case someone didn't understand, I saw a photo of someone wearing a mask which said, "I can't breathe". In the other newspaper it almost looks like the protest sign is representing those with COVID-19.
