Court TV is giving the trial coverage. Some of the comments from the studio anchors are repulsive. Over the past few days comments like "A wig wearing freak" and other uncalled for remarks have been aired. Possibly some of these reporters were not even born when Spector was turning out some of the finest prodution pieces and lyrics ever to be recorded. Probably not "apples to apples", however, Imus, even after many apologies, was sent packing. Too bad for Phil. He unfortunately is a rich, white, eccentric, reclusive genius. Shame on Court TV.
 
To quote Oscar Levant:

"There is a thin line between genius and insanity."

It remains to be seen which side of the line that Mr. Spector falls on. His body of musical work notwithstanding, there have been many who have speculated on his sanity.

As far as the comments on Court TV are concerned, are we talking about "reporters" or "commentators", and is the difference easily distinguished? It also pays to remember that this is "Court TV", not "Court NEWS".

The tone of your comments sounds like YOU believe him innocent. Are you giving him a pass because of his musical "talent?"

I could lleave it to the jury. I bellieve Oscar Levant knew what he was talking about.

I LOVE the judge. I'm not sure Spector's hair or the fact that he has an attorney who defended John Gotti (things that Phil can control) bode
well.

Looks to me like Spector is trying to make it the "Chicago 7" trial - making Phil his own worst enemy.

No. I believe Court TV to be unprofessional. His innocence or guilt has nothing to do with my opinion of comments made by Court TV.
 
Just my take; Court-tv is is alot like E - only "court."

I'm really glad NICK isn't covering this trial.
