Spectrum Analyzer

Does anyone know of an RF spectrum analyzer that is based around a laptop? My HP 8924C is just way to heavy to lug around anymore!! :)

I have poked around on google and have not really seen anything.

The Rohde Schwarz FSH series is the next best thing. Mine travels in a small Pelican along with connectors, cables, etc.
 
Well, you could use oscilliscope with an external DC ramp sawtooth generator.
Synch your local oscillator to follow the sawtooth.
Synch the horizontal sweep to the external signal and you have a spectrum analyzer. ;)

A device once used in IF alignment of wideband radios at 455khz was the RF wobbulator.
It swept up and down, giving a view of passband (to adjust for even "skirts" on both sides) in radios with continuously variable IFs.
