Spectrum to Try 24 Hour TV Local News for LA

https://www.arcamax.com/business/businessnews/s-2115539

I'm skeptical that this can succeed. LA has many local stations already covering the news and there is no dearth of options for on the spot coverage of national stories. Still, that a well capitalized operator like Spectrum is willing to try this is nice to hear.

This is a very interesting development. We don't have cable but I will be following this closely. Interesting how Spectrum can put together an entire 24 hour cable new service with little fanfare but certain other companies in recent news just talk about it and become the latest victim of the culture war. I wonder if Spectrum will utilise freelance footage and reports like those found in the STRINGR app.
