Spencer Hughes hits new low

L

Guest
Widely reported from California that Spencer Hughes played softball
with neighborhood children this week. One of the kids, new on the
block, having moved from Boston recently, is very, very short. Still,
he was deemed a pretty decent pitcher but threw a low ball. Bad
mistake. Spencer bent down, swung, and knocked it out of the park.

Deplorable. He shoulda intentionally missed!

There...

Makes as much sense as everything else you've read about the guy!
______________

Do you understand the meaning of "nonsequitur".

But it does show that Spencer Hughes can't even make the big leagues when it comes to softball. At least, he knows his limited capacity there. So, there is hope he will realize....

depends on the spelling or placement of a simple space:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non_sequitur_(absurdism)

Alternative: An absurd statement, having no intended meaning.
Written or spoken to cause the gullible to rise to the bait.

And they do....indeed they do!

BTW, I think S.H. keeps saying those things that so "enrage"
just to encourage those who hate him to keep listening. He
seems to believe that, though they profess to hate him, they
tell the truth about what they're listening to when Arbitron
comes to call. He's figured it out! It ain't what the audience
thinks or rants about...it's just about the numbers. Ya do
whatever it takes to keep them listening for any reason. And
he's sure doing it well.

--disclaimer: Not refering to any real numbers, just to the
loyal dedication of his audience the their (it's?) continuing
effort(s) to get others to listen so they, too, can be offended.

Barnum Lives!!!

So Les, you agree, that Spence Hughes is a nonsequitur. Seems like that was
in some Star Trek episode...

No, The Good Mr. Hughes is probably a human. It's the
entire repetitive issue that's a non sequitur. But
at least it's harmless. Unless, of course, he has
relatives in the North End.
______________
