SPENT THE AFTERNOON WITH WRR CLASICAL 101

While Classical 101 is an acquired taste I found the stations programming an presentation to be on the same level as other major marker classical music outlets.

The presentation was as smooth as silk, the announcer was pure velvet and the audio was pristine. While the station is a niche format, Dallas is lucky to have the outlet IMHO.

A very pleasant change on the afternoon commute...

Great station. But, so is 99.5. We are fortunate to have some truly awesome classical stations still on the air, and are fortunate to live in an era where we can actually listen to from long distances, thanks to the Internet. Lord only knows how long that will last, though. Too much noise pollution in the world, and too many people embracing the pollution.

A very well respected Classical station. WRR is actually owned by the City of Dallas and has been on the air since the 20's. WCRB is also a fine Classical station as well. You might want to try out KING-FM, WFMT and WQXR as well.
