Spice Show Fired

I believe you. I'm sure what they replace it with won't be any better, but he had his chance, and he failed. Look, there's a way to do a show about how much of a drug addict you are and make it entertaining and he did it all wrong. Let's remember, this guy's claim to fame was getting his ding-dong pierced on air. Before that he was working gratis. I'm sure he's a nice guy, and if I met him I'd probably feel bad for dissing him so much; but I grew up listening to GREAT Tampa radio, and he ain't it. Buh Bye

Personally, I always thought Spice was a strong personality. Like you, I didn't care much for the weed discussions. But I think the downfall of his show was the crew he surrounded himself with. Geo had absolutely nothing to say on-air, unless it was "yeah" or "uh-huh". The Nervous Jared storyline was always the same. And the button bar non-sense went too far. I hope Spice lands on his feet. He has an enormous amount of talent.

If what you're saying is true, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back on Bubba's show. I haven't listened since the MJ trial, but someone posted that Tara is off the show. You can't mess with the dynamics of a radio show as much as they did and expect to hold everyone's attention. If they're going to roll out in two new markets, they might fare better with Spice back in the mix. The Bone really could have a great show on at night... it's such a great time-slot for drunk callers.

Not likely. Rumour is, Bubba may have had something to do with Spice's departure. They've not been on good terms for a few months now.

Fisher was cut too, which sounds like they're just going to go with syndicated programs from 7pm - 5am?
I'm just a listener but... It's a shame for each of these guys, who seemed to take a chance in their radio career from their relatively safe gigs to help CMG and do something different.

Yo! All is good. I'm VP of Operations at @JannusLive & we launch JL TV on T-Mobile next week. Thx for the support! Stay tuned : )

Also made hints at budget cuts and "revenge is the best revenge..right Bubba?"
