Spokane - Adult Modern's biggest market?

Recently while in Spokane I couldn't help but notice the adult targeted modern music market appears to be large, judging from the amount of stations in it:

ZZU "modern hit music"

KXLY - adult alternative

KCDA - modern/adult modern rock

105.7 - back as "The Peak" doing the adult/retro modern thing.

Out of the bunch, I liked most of them but there was something about the Peak that just didn't quite work for me. I don't know if it was just the fact they play a lot of golds I'm so tired of on modern rock formats, or seemingly not being as into the true alternative currents like 94.7 in Portland - but I know it's a heritage brand so maybe it works for the market.

You forgot 95.3 KPND Sandpoint - the best of the bunch.

Homegrown and focus group free radio.

KPND is a gem. Quality music, not just "modern rock." I did enjoy them a great deal, just seemed to me the other stations were focused around the same "90s and now" modern rock during alot of sets.
