spokane gets a new rhythmic station

I finally tuned them in today to see what was happening, and they still have a very bad signal(I was in Spokane Valley near the mall) and my great JBL radio in my Toyota didn't stop at 104.5, it just kept scanning right past the station. I heard some kind of countdown program, they were counting down "Spokane's Top-30." It sounded all pre-recorded, with no live interaction, just produced liners and imaging....until they get their signal problems fixed---which they may not be able to do, since they ARE licensed to Newport---50 miles north of Spokane. 104.5 may be a lost cause for any format....but only time will tell. Can't tell if I was listening to the booster, or just the original signal of 104.5 coming out of Newport. Don't have any idea where they are originating their broadcasts or who is running the station. Guess we will see soon, or hear soon, eh???

"Cube 104.5"?......does Clear Channel Know about this?

It's interesting both KQQB and KAZZ are back on the air. Any (potential) buyers?

Chris Gilbreath is the one running the station right now. Believe he was in Yakima and/or Pullman for awhile. Not sure why they are using the "Cube" name as it really has no meaning in Spokane.
