A pivotal period in radio where AM music was moving quickly to FM. I see KJRB was still spinning the hits, as was KREM, and KHQ for that matter. This would end within a few years.

My goodness, the FM gap between 99.9 (was KXLY ever on 100.1? I don't think so...) and 105.7!! There are now 7 full-power and a bunch of translator stations on that portion of the FM dial in Spokane/CDA.
KWRS would later go defunct and 90.3 is now KPBZ, the PRX Remix station. 1380 and 1440 are also long defunct. KGA-1510 used to rule the nighttime airwaves all over the west, especially in the country days. It's now a 540 watt pipsqueak at night often battling with KSFN Piedmont CA and even KPLS Littleton CO.
