Sporting News' new time clock

The programs now start a couple of minutes earlier after the top of the hour with a break at :10 after and a Sporting News Flash at :30. I believe there's also another break between the :30 and the top of the hour. The breaks are almost the same as Fox Sports Radio's time clock. SNR has had their breaks centered around the updates at the top, the :20 and :40 going back to their old One On One days. They also have a new voiceover guy as well.

Soft breaks at around :12 and :42, hard breaks at :27 and :57. Flashes at the top and bottom with no commercials after the bottom flash. And the first segment begins at :04.

I just discovered the new clock this morning listening to the overnight show. For someone who's listened to SNR and its predecessor for dang near two decades, it's a little jarring.

The clock change is in line with FSR and ESPN's recent changes away from 00/20/40 updates. ESPN recently went to hard top and bottom of the hour breaks with floating breaks around the 15/45 quarter hours

I just noticed the SNR clock change as well, I don't have a full time affil near me but one of the sports stations nearby still uses SNR for their updates during local shows but airs FSR when not airing local or national games. Didn't SNR used to have hard updates at 00/20/40?

Yep. SNR's clock used to be all hard timed with 3 segments, but it seems the 4 segmented 1/4 hour-stopsets clock is the most PPM friendly clock, and many networks are shifting to it.

I've been wanting to ask this question for a week or so now, so I'll ask it here instead of a new topic.
Some of yall seem to be up on SNR details. Maybe you know.

Is there a list of SNR affiliates, full-time and part-time, somewhere that's easily accessible? I couldn't find anything reliable through web searching. I've seen a few lists, but they seem woefully inaccurate, judging from the websites for the 'affiliates.' Over half the stations I checked out didn't mention SNR, or were a completely new format altogether.

And maybe an accurate FSR affiliate list, if anybody knows that one too?

What I'm looking for is examples of some stations in smaller markets where the sports station isn't ESPN-by-default. If there are any....

I wonder how much notice they gave their affiliates about the switch as the 2 local stations that run SNR overnights, WQAM 560 AM and WMEN 640 AM, were running their commercials over the Todd Wright Show on the overnight Mon/Tue and Tue/Wed. Also both stations had some dead air during the 1/2 hour break at :27. I listen on my way to work between the 1 and 2 AM hours.

Also, do many of the affiliates run commercials over the Flash? WQAM does and I want to hear some of the scores from the previous night, but can't. I eventually look them up on my smartphone when I have a chance between pick-ups (I work for an airport shuttle company).

I was with 1590 WYSR in 2005 when ESPN changed their clocks, they gave us a good one month notice. Everyone gets proper notice, some stations are plain slack thats all. Then again some stations can't get it right period, the 3 station ESPN/regional show combo in my neck of the woods is consistently off in all day parts which I find hard to fathom because the owners (Curtis Media) has a tremendous rep, then again I have noticed at least here in the Triad of NC that sports talk is treated like a red headed stepchild.
