Sports anchor Dave Diles dies...

Dave was a great friend of the great late and controversial Detroit talk-master Lou Gordon and subbed for him during the time Lou was recuperating from open-heart surgery back in late 1974. Lou chose his friends, well. Dave handled the chores perfectly on Lou's WKBD/Kaiser Broadcasting show "The Lou Gordon Program" for a few weeks. He was a true professional. RIP.
 
in the days before ESPN and online 24/7 sports, I really used to look forward to those Prudential
College Football Scoreboard shows he would host. It was the best way to get caught up back in
the day.
