Sports Babe: Syndication Redux?

http://www.radioink.com/Article.asp?id=2505629&spid=24698
The Fabulous Sports Babe was syndicated on nearly 300 radio stations when with ESPN. She says when she got cancer she needed a break and now she's ready to get back at it.

And there just happens to be a new sports radio network with major clearances launching next year. I'd venture to guess she'll be a shoo-in for overnights on CBSSR.

Nanci is not one of those transcendant talents that just sits down at a mic and blows you away, but under the tight structure and fast pace ESPN imposed on her show it was very entertaining. I'm sure CBS plans a similar structure for her and if they do that, it should work just fine.

@Tampa Sports Fan: A successful run as the first female syndicated sports radio host... Real "awful," huh?

Maybe she was good once. Now, she's lazy. I've heard her flat out admit not knowing things, or paying attention things any sports radio producer should know. Let alone a host. Being good once doesn't mean we have to pretend you're still good if you show you don't give a damn.
