So did ya hear that Sports Jam guy Jed Donahue has assumed the ranks of managment at Lewistown's Mifflin Co. Comm. cluster? I hear he brought a friend from Susquehana with him for sales, too.

I suspect he'll be like a tugboat trying to rescue a barge that's been stuck on a sandbar. Question is, can he get the barge to float?

I thought the Nittany media group ran those stations anyway.
______________

Nittany media owns Chix 105, Star Country and WKVA

Is that the cluster Jed's gonna manage?

Apparently so.

Why did they bring in Jed? Didn't think he had a lick of programming experience.

Nittany Media has a passion to do sports on every station they own, and the only reason I could see them bringing Jed onboard is for him to help boost their sports. They just hosted the "Clash of the Cleats" soccer tournament. Its a shame when they could put a little attention into their equipment. From what I heard, Dave Berman was always using Forever Broadcastings marti to do remotes after they were done with their broadcast.

Ha! Dave would borrow the suit from his dead granddaddy B4 he would go out & buy one.

I hear Jed was brought in to increase sales (my hunch is it will be through his "influence" and through his sports). I understand he is wrapping up his network obligations & I've heard he may be moving to Lewistown.

Story is that he'll have his hands in all of Nittany media's outlets.
______________

He has no "network obligations" other than his own, he owns the network.

Where else does Nittany have stations?
