Sports Radio in DC

On FM you mean? Or are you implying that 980 isn't sports?

I wouldn't be shocked by a BIG format flip sooner rather than later. They're not doing well, and most of the station's audience would just move over to WASH anyway.

Of course, the downside is that CC would then have 3 AMs with no ratings.
 
This isn't the first time I heard that WBIG is going sports.
Air America would then move to 980AM, with the WWRC calls moving back!!

I would welcome that. 1260 is hard to get around sunset, in certain parts of NOVA, when birds fly counter-clockwise...
