SportsNet NY in PA or South Jersey Cable

I understand Cablevision and SportsNet NY are close to a deal to put the network on channel 60 on most Cablevision systems and channel 73 (next to YES, FSNY and MSG) on others. Does anyone know the channel locations on Comcast or Time Warner systems? How far down the Jersey Shore is Comcast carring the channel? Also, does anyone know if Blue Ridge Cable in the Stroudsberg, Ponocos area of PA added the channel and or Allentown area systems like Service Electric or RCN? I checked many cable company websites and the Sportnet NY site and found very few answers. Thanks

Their website, http://www.sny.tv, doesn't show any coverage into the Philadelphia/Wilmington DMA. As for New Jersey, the area covered goes as far south as the New York City DMA does now.<P ID="signature">______________

While not the shore, It does list East Windsor/Central Mercer(GET SNY, select New Jersey as state). Mercer County is in Philadelphia DMA.

Mercer County gets NY sports, and Ocean County (NY DMA) has Philadelphia sports on cable through CCSN-Philly as well, putting both counties as NY/Philly overlaps.

Now, it's to be seen if Comcast and Cablevision carry all the sports RSNs from NY, plus CCSN-Philly, in those two counties where they have systems.

Patriot Media in Princeton is the only Philadelphia DMA cable system that doesn't carry Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia. Patriot Media has contracts for FSNY MSG and YES, as they primarily serve Princeton with Somerset County, which the latter isn't in CCSN-Philly territory anyways. However, they have 2 separete lineups.

But given that they balked at Comcast for their Princeton lineup, they might balk at SportsNet NY as well, given it's only 1 pro team coverage and Comcast is involved; CCSN-Phila. is 3 pro teams, for $2, and yet no deal for that.

Patriot Media isn't national ; they can't use the rest of the country to subsize the ridiculous NY market RSN sports costs, like how Comcast might be able to, so it's VERY possible no Mets on Patriot Media, and if Dish and DirecTV still don't carry it, and FIOS not available and nope to it either, no Mets at all for people in that area.

Princeton is already in a no Phillies situation through all providers, with satellite not deliverying CCSN-Philly, Patriot Media not delivering CCSN-Philly, but blackouts still applicable on ESPN and MLB EI.

Allentown is NOT in the NY Sports Market.

Scranton-Wilkes Barre's surrounding counties (including Carbon County) however are considered in NY Sports Market.

Local cable operators of Scranton will probably not carry the channel. A smaller cable system (not owned by Comcast, Time Warner or Cablevision) would already be carrying YES, MSG, FSNY and CCSN-Philly there. Add a 5th RSN, the system would have to add another $2 to the rate.

Comcast of Toms River and Comcast of LBI (both in Ocean County) carry SportsNet New York, as well as CCSN-Philly, YES, MSG and Fox Sports New York ...

I am a subscriber of DISH Network and all I got for the regional sports coverage
is the MSG Network and FSN NY. It doesn't offer SportsNet NY, so this means that anyone who is a Dish subscriber and lives in or near NYC cannot get the channel.

And yes, I live in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre market, so I usually get the both NYC sports channels.

btw, I am not a NY Mets fan.
