SPORTSTALK P.D. COMING TO TOWN; TO WHICH STATION?

Radio Daily News has this report from a Philly blog:

http://www.bradyresidence.com/072707.html

WIP 610-AM is looking for a new program director. Tom Lee, who held the position the last two years, is moving to a radio station in Dallas, according to industry sources. Lee replaced Tom Bigby, who was program director for 18 years. In the June ratings, WIP ranked 18th out of 28 stations listed among listeners, 12 and older.

It doesn't seem like the Dallas to Philly and Philly to Dallas talent and management swaps ever work out that well. The markets aren't that much alike, are they?

Look at the ads..Does KESN come to mind? ESPN RADIO103. They have been advertising for a PD for sometime. Gotta love those EOE's,when a decision was already made.
