Spotify CEO's dispute with Apple

Yep, kids, every time you download an app onto your phone or laptop, you're giving yet another company access to your data, and access to (and some control over) your property (your device is your property, right?).

And this issue with Apple charging extra for using apps from their app store isn't unusual lately. Amazon pulled its 'buy button' for eBooks from Google and Apple because those two companies apparently wanted to charge a 30% for Amazon book buyers using their apps / platform to buy eBooks from Amazon.
