Spotmaster "FM Sound Britener" audio processor

I've seen him drop pricing on his stuff multiple times. I think now that ebay gives away listings there's little incentive to price things to make them move.

I'll bet by the first quarter of 2014 he might be approaching a reasonable price on some piece of gear ... maybe!

Yeah, I've seen him drop from around $900 down to around $600... on a CRL AGC that's worth $150 at best.

...but it is vintage!

My favorite from a couple a years ago was the crazy demand for the consumer DBX processors. A urban legend appeared that the consumer DBX units were actually a 160 with no meter and unbalanced in/outs. Suddenly they were going for high dollar. The truth is the insides were similar to a 160 but hardly the same thing.

I have just sold a couple of items on ebay, and they sold for peanuts, whilst some other similar items sell for top dollar.
I was going to sell a Hnat Hindes mike maze, but due to poor performance on the recent sales, i don't think it's worth the risk.

What seems to get good prices is old valve gear, seems to have a dedicated following of buyers.
