So who was that leaving Security at Hartsfield on the tram out to terminal C wearing a Now 93.1 Staff Jacket on 12/18 with wife and kid in stroller?

For those of you who do not know, Now 93.1 was the now defunct Emmis Top 40 in Indy.

This was not a transfer between Delta Terminal A and B. Nor was it an Airtran transfer in Terminal C.

One does not bring the family in for the holidays and leave a week before Xmas.

And one certainly does not bring a wife and kid in for an interview....only to look for a place to rent.

So who has made a new hire?

Q100? Star? Or is Clear Channel about to do something?

Oh yeah...hmmmm.....are they on vacation this week?

Perhaps they were heading out for the holidays.

I hear there is more drama at Star 94 anyway with an interesting affair with a new hire in management and an on-air talent that was not disclosed prior to hiring ....... and there are now some people not too happy about that little bit of non-disclosure....

Do we really need more talent from a smaller market? Especially when what we got from there is so dreadful. That's like going to the same restaurant again after having two bad meals in a row.

Now to the bigger question, who wears the station jacket in an out of town market when they are looking for a new gig?

After Roddy's post, I checked the Star94 website - yep...it was the morning mess master.

Hometown: Clarksville, Maryland, a little snob town parked right between Baltimore and DC.

Right now, Melissa and I are having fun with our 6-month old son, Tyler.

And I love my sports! Nothing against the Falcons, but growing up in the Washington, DC area made me a DIE HARD Washington Redskins fan. Some Sundays I wake up at 2am, pack a bag, get on my SKINS jersey, race to the airport, fly to DC for the game, then race back to the airport and come home.

....And he had his NFL luggage as well, lol.

Shows how well they are doing when no one knows what they look like or knows they are on vacation......of course, if you love the Redskins instead of Falcons, I guess the market returns the love.....

Actuallty, if you are running late for a plane and security is 60-90 minutes, tip the skycap $20 to put you in a wheelchair and go to the front of the line.

I did it the Friday 6 or so years ago when the guy ran down the exit and they closed the airport for hours - made everyone go back through security in the entire airport - 2.5 - 3.0 hour line. I was through the line, on the plane, home and in my den before I would have even gotten through security otherwise.

A wonderful use of $20.
