Spring '11 ARB's released for Maine

Those are 12+ Numbers which mean absolutely nothing. Adults 25-54 is all that matters and without breaking any Arbitron copyright laws, the folks at Frank FM are extremely happy right now.

Good! Glad to hear it, Bobby. You folks deserve great things too. I can only assume from the article in Downeast that WBZN, WQCB, you all and WTOS likely all hit their/your respective target age groups fairly well. Same to be said in Portland with WJBQ, WFNK and WGAN. I think WJBQ has won the 12+ race in the past, but I'm not sure if WBZN ever has. I was only saying congrats to the "winners" this time around, saying their victories are well deserved, at least by their entertaining morning shows. But there are plenty of good sounding stations in both markets that deserve a nice congratulations as well on doing great work.

Two quick points:

1) As a someone just mentioned, 12+ numbers mean NOTHING. All they do is give the stations at the top FALSE bragging rights.

2) One of my co-workers has a minor in statistics and pointed out that Arbitron fails to use enough diaries (samples) to give us an accurate picture. It's NOT even a good ESTIMATE.

Why do you think more and more radio companies aren't subscribing anymore?

Don't know. Don't care. I was only trying to give credit to a couple of stations I enjoy listening to for the people on it more than the music itself. My apologies.
