I see that the Spring 2011 ratings are out. Any thoughts?

I see that heritage CHR WDJX is still beating 98.9 Radio Now even after they renamed themselves from kiss fm.

I see that WAMZ is at it's lowest point in history.

WSFR lost to WQMF. Very dissapointing, I was hoping that WQMF would get stomped by SFR. I guess QMF won't be bringing back all those other artists any time soon.

Wonder when SFR will change their ads from the #1 classic rock station?

I could be wrong but the recent change in WQMF is too soon to be reflected in this book.

WQNU had an excellent book with the biggest gain. Q definitely took some WAMZ audience this book. Will WAMZ rebound? Of course. They did just get nominated for a national award. Charlie Steele is doing great with WQMF and WTFX, but WSFR is steady. Say what you want about how WHAS is run, but they have their highest 12+ book in a long time.

Dave we made the changes the 1st week of may. Roughly 1 and half months of the 3 had the change. June being our highest of the 3 months.

I believe this is the first book that AM 680 has received any registered numbers since the sign-on date in 1992. WLRS-FM, WWPW-FM, and WFIA-FM continues to rank at the bottom, despite WLRS-FM's city-wide billboard campaign and WFIA-FM's switch from Solid Gospel. WFIA-FM hasn't added any ministry programs for a while and the daytime lineup contains several repeats. As far as 104.3, I remember the former urban WBLO scoring at least a 3.5 in every book, a big difference with the current WWPW's ratings. I wonder if there will be a change with these three outlets in the near future.

I really don't know what else they could do with 105.1. Over the years, it's had pop (90's), Christian music, late 1990s, and then WLRS alt, and WLRS new/classic rock.

We don't have a classic hits format in Louisville (like WLCL 93.9 was). Maybe 105.1 could do that?

I remember when 105.1 went on the air in 1993. They were a hot ac owned by a cable company. I remember having an interview there for a sales job. Very interesting format they would play inxs followed by some air supply tuneage.

I dont think there is much else mainline or anyone else could do with 105.1 I bet it does better now in the revenue department then it did before. But radio one ruined wlrs-105.1 they never promoted it well and just didnt do things right. It is a shame but in all honesty wlrs should had never been brought back on the air from 102.3 ya know the old saying let sleeping dogs lie
