There will be a country station in Tucson besides KIIM by September 1, 2008 in my opinon. There will also be a new oldies station in Tucson by Setember 1, 2008 in my opinon.

From a very reliable source TODAY I heard the new owners are going to do one of the three....
1. Keep the same format and ad personalities to certain dayparts.
2. Go News/Talk with all local all live talk.
3. Go Spanish Talk
I was told ads are going out for production, office manager, traffic manager, sales and promotions people this weekend.
Something else is planned as well but I can't get make it out of the phone conversations I hear. From what I have heard this will all happen by next week.
