Its Spring Book time and in Delaware that usually means a new crop of billboards for the radio stations. In the past, this has included not only Wilmington stations, but a few Philly stations as well (Sunny 104-5 figured promently several years ago).
So far this spring, in addition to WXCY, I have only seen new ads for WDEL, but they are clever. One in particular promotes Traffic Watch with the slogan "When you have to go..." and shows a little boy strapped in the seat with his hands placed so that you know "he has to go!" Another shows gas prices from a now past era with a "don't you wish" message. These ads are much more clever and attention grabbing than WDEL has used in the past.
Has anyone seen new billboards for the other players in town?
