SPRING BOOK

Ok, the spring book just came out any word on how the South Bend Market faired? ;D

How did the classic rock stations go? WAOR STILL THE BEST? HOW DID U93 DO THIS TIME?

The big stories in South Bend were.....

WAOR being up despite firing their morning show half way through the book.

Also a big bump up for the WZOW/WOZW simulcast.

The continuing struggle of U93 and B100. Both were once top stations in 12+ and 25-54. These guys used to pull 13 shares!....not anymore.

Power 95.7 seeing it's best days behind them

WHFB still struggling to compete

So B100 must not have done very well with 25/54. Their 12+ numbers were pretty good I thought.

If you were a female over 30 who loves country and/or new music/new rock, you probably had a diary this time around.

K-105 returned to form. KHY took a big jump. WASK took a hit and dropped a few notches (looks like guys over 50 had all the WASK books). Even GLM had a nice flourish with 35-45 year old females and a confidence boost 12+.

WAZY needs to figure out what's it's (next?) format is going to be. They don't have any listeners over 34, but nobody there has caught on yet.

WSHP can't go much newer or it loses it's core audience (and copies too much of KHY's playlist) or maybe people have caught on that Bob & Tom have peaked and find the show is largely unlistenable anymore.

People need to support WASK-AM with ESPN. Everyone who complains about the status quo and how all the radio stations sound alike need to embrace ANYTHING new and exciting in the Lafayette radio market.

And I wonder what the new ratings would have looked like if WJEF was a commercial endeavor?
Before there was Jack, There was Jeff!!!
