Spring ratings in Savannah

I dont subscribe to Arbitron (like most people here) but I think its late July.

My predictions:

92.3 will get back in the 12+ rankings
WLOW will drop a bit
WGZR will float around a 2 share
WRHQ will bounce back
WGCO will pull a 3 share 12+
WTYB will probably pull up more and make it a neck-to-neck race with Love

And that's it. I think it'll be another boring book.

Isn't it always, though?

I hate trying to make projections because sometimes the most random crap happens, but I'll give it a shot.

I'm most interested to see how the newly-relaunched Oldies 98.3 does. Will the large base of listeners that were locked on WGCO before the flip to Jack come back? My hunch is that a good number will... they'll pick up a bit. As far as The Coast, I honestly don't see any way they could benefit this time around. If they have another tepid showing, I hope Triad pulls the plug. It might have been a semi-decent idea back when they still believed in Jack, but with Oldies back in the fold I just don't see how it can work.

To be completely honest, I didn't listen to WGZR when it was Gator and I haven't listened since they've rebranded to Lucky Dog (which is still a horrible moniker, IMO). Not necessarily anything against them, Country is just not my thing - I don't listen to Kix either for that matter. So I really couldn't tell you if they've made any other significant on-air changes since the name change. I don't know if I foresee a huge shift in numbers for them this time around, but Triad seems pretty dedicated to the format... if they weren't, they probably would have just dumped it altogether rather than trying to relaunch. I should note that the station has done pretty well in HHI, beating Kix 96 fairly handily. WGZO does well too, for that matter - is that what's keeping them around?

KISSFM made some airstaff changes early this year (Russ named PD, Kramer to PM Drive, T*Lovely to nights) and then some subtler changes to imaging and general on-air presentation. Honestly, they sound pretty good to me, but it'll still be interesting to see how the ratings reflect those moves.

What else... going to be fun to see the WLVH/WTYB battle... 'RHQ might rebound a bit...that's all that really comes to mind.

Whither Z102 and Rock 106.1?

My prediction? A boring book, as usual.

Probably,

I haven't listened to Z102 in maybe a month or so, I turned it on today it sounds quite a bit Differnet than they used to, Have they Flipped back to HOTAC?

I had to pull up their Playlist to see the mix

It appears they have, they just don't have the tag out of the top 50 43 leaned HOTAC and only 7 leaned Rhythmic
