SPRINGFIELD AM RADIO

I had couple of questions for someone in Springfield Il. I was wondering if the AM stations in Springfield were broadcasting in HD
like WMAY, WTAX, WFMB or WLDS in Jacksonville, I lived there about five years ago and I was just wondering about that and have
their been any major changes in the stations down there? I now live in the Chicago area and I have not been able to get back there
since I moved. Also I was wondering how the reception was from the Chicago stations in the area .I used to be able to pick up
WGN AM720,WBBM AM780 and WSCR AM670 clearly day and night. I was able to pick up WLS AM890 clear during the day but not
so well at night. I was also wondering about a few other stations WMVP AM1000, WIND AM560 and WYLL AM1160 and WNDZ 750AM
AM 750 is a daytimer which recently boosted their power from 5,000 watts to 15,000 watts and I was able to pick them up in my
car when I lived there. AM1160 recently boosted their nightime power to 50,000 watts from a new nightime site southwest of the
city, also AM1000 built three new towers and slightly changed their nightime pattern, and I was wondering if AM560 came in at all
day or night. If anyone has any answers to this I would appreciate it.

My ex wife was from Springfield so we would go there regularly and we were able to get 560 in the day time, it was crackly because of 550 from St. Louis but I could put up with it. I could hear 1160 faintly, 1000 weak and even 750 before the power raise...and that came in surprisingly well, so did 820, it was weak but listenable...the big stations 670 720 780 and 890 were always clear, day and night.
