That's not "streaming radio." It's just "streaming music."

For it to be "radio" would require it to have some elements of a format. This is simply a random collection of songs in a genre (Hip Hop, or Alternative, or Eighties) being sent from a server to a telephone.

Is it considered "radio" because it's being transmitted over the air?

I'll allow that it may have one element in common with radio in that a machine selects the music...
