Sprint Agrees to Make Some Phones FM Radio Receivers

Sprint announced today that some of their Android and Windows phones will have active FM radio chips. They hope to roll this out over the next three years.

No doubt this will take the pressure off of consumers who are concerned about data caps when streaming radio from the web.

Not iPhones, like what I have? The thing is, all iPhones since the 3GS have built-in FM chips, and I've got a 4S.

Wonder if someone'll ever make it possible for me to jailbreak and get an FM chip turned on.
