Sprout TV kids shows on WXIA during middays.....

Anyone else find it a bit strange that WXIA-TV airs these shows aimed at 2 year olds nearly every weekday during the noon hour? I get the whole E/I programming that the FCC requires but isn't there any other time they could show these Sprout TV shows? Pretty bizarre to see such a sharp segue in programming from "Noodle & Doodle" straight into a scene with a woman pouring gasoline on a man in a bed and burning him alive on "Days Of Our Lives"! Lol

sounds like they are exploiting the loophole...per wiki

The law allows networks and stations to air E/I programming in the 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. time slot on weekdays despite the fact that most children five years of age and older are at school during that time period. Taking advantage of this loophole, some commercial stations interested only in malicious compliance with the regulations show E/I programming only during this time slot (often going further and tent-poling their E/I shows with infomercials before and after so that these programs are almost certain to be overlooked).
