Spyware from internet radio at 181.fm?

Just spent the better part of 3 hours trying to figure out how to clean out virtumonde. I started getting a whole bunch of registry change requests when I went to 181.fm and started listening to their streams through the Winamp/Itunes link.
I finally found a malware remover for it, but I am wondering if anyone else had problems with 181.fm. I'm certainly hesitant on going back there now. ???

Best thing to do is do a SYSTEM RESTORE to a few days ago (That shopuld clear anything put on there by that site)

Then do a full sweep to make sure :)

What exactly were you doing @ the site when you started noticing things?

Dude I know the guy who runs 181.FM they arent purposely installing spyware, but likely you are getting hacked into... I get Viruses and Malaware all the time, and I use Spybot search and destry and Adaware 2009 Free Version to remove it.. it might place some cookies on your system, but almost no Radio Listening Portal is going to purposely give you Viruses,, maybe harmless tracking cookies which are easily removed... Download the free Spybot search and destroy, keep it updated, download the free Adaware 2009, keep it updated, keep your cookies clean, and run at least a legit anti virus program, I use Anvira, it works good and doesnt hog memory like Nortans and Macafee.

I have Spybot S&D, it caught alot of the registry changes the Trojan was trying to do, but I was still infected because I was getting all sorts of weird errors including .dll files that would not shut down, plus some screen that was an advertizement for virus scans.
Spybot found the infection, erased it, but then it re-appeared and I had to find another way. Fortunately Malwarebites erased the virus and I haven't had any problems, but before I found out about that prog I wasted a couple of hours with Spybot scans.
The messages about registry changes started popping up just after I started listening the The Mix stream at 181.fm with my Winamp player. I'm sure they arent intentionally doing this, but perhaps their servers are infected and they dont know it.

When i listenend to THE MIX with thier embedded WMP a file "logo.png" tried to DL,i just cancelled the DL.... (Click CANCEL on the box that comes up)

http://www.181.fm/playing.php?station=181-themix&embed=1

When i listenend to it with Winamp (Well Realplayer for me) I didnt get anything like that........

EDIT:

Just went thee again and i didnt get that file attempting to DL,very strange.... It might be a banner on thier site thats causing this........

I have experienced this. I went there and my entire PC froze. It took me 10 minutes to unfreeze it. Luckily, it didn't get infected, but if I want to listen to 181.FM, I save the preset in my player. But I usually end up choosing 000Music.net because the ads weren't popup and the programming was better anyway. 181.FM is trying to make some quick money, which I don't blame them but on the same note, one of those banners is virtumonde indeed.

It's not from 181.fm, many banner ad companies are unscrupulous. BTW, who is running them now that Donnie has passed away?

Don't know how, I heard the news because someone I know was browsing their forums and found an "RIP Donnie" thread. I met him in person once, a pretty big guy so I would venture a health problem possibly? He wasn't all that old, just in his 30s.
