Hello everybody,
I think I will start with this one basic question, besides TLC, where in SS32 do SatLiner settings live? I'm fairly new at dealing with this kind of technical stuff. I have looked everywhere and there is nowhere myself or a colleague of mine can find where to adjust SatLiner settings for when :10 liners are fired by the networks.
We just launched the Dan Bongino Show on our news talk station on Monday; I believe I set everything up correctly in Merge32 inside that program's clock. I made a special rotator inside SS32, put that cart number in the program clock and nothing fired. I even used the same settings we use for another show (Lars Larson), but that also seems to be having issues where it too is not firing any liners when the opto-closure is triggered by the networks.
For instance, here is what I noticed in the air log for Lars Larson:
21‐06‐21,18:15:47,EVENT:,‐‐‐‐‐‐,‐‐‐,"Sat‐Liner #14 NOT PLAYED: Not Defined or OFF‐‐‐‐‐‐"
Originally, I had 16 in the clock for Lars Larson; so I changed it to 14. That still did not solve that problem thinking that might solve that problem. Well, it got rid of that "not defined" message from the air log, but still does not fire anything. Since both Lars and Bongino's shows are coming off the same receiver, I also changed Bongino from 16 to 14, nothing. Since Monday, there also has not been any Sat-Liner notes in the air log when Bongino's show airs.
All this being said, can help me out and tell me what I'm missing? Is there some hidden place in SS32 that we need to define what Sat-Liner 14 belongs to or where it needs to fire? By the way, Sat-Liner 14 is also used in our airing of Coast to Coast and works just fine.
I'm thinking if there is somewhere in the satellite receiver that needs to be told to use Sat-Liner 14 for Bongino's show.
Thanks in advance!
