St. John's FM Stations Received in Port aux Basques (7/20/2011)

Doing a car errand (unloading some items), I checked out the radio. Here's what I got...

CHOZ 94.7 OZ FM (in addition to the 96.9 I get regularly)
CKIX 99.1 HITS FM (hearing Jason DeRulo's DON'T WANNA GO HOME)
CKSJ 101.1 Coast 101.1 FM (hearing Corey Hart's SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT)
CBAX-FM-2 101.9 Espace Musique (French version of CBC Radio 2)
CBN-FM 106.9 CBC Radio 2 (English version of Espace Musique)

In the case of CBAX-FM-2, it totally wiped out my usual daily catch of 101.9 The Giant from Sydney (I did also get the usual Sydney stations on 94.9 The Cape, 95.9 Premiere Chaine, 98.3 Max FM, 103.5 The Eagle and 105.1 CBC Radio 2). And I never did know if I picked up VOCM-FM on 97.5 (K-Rock). I went through that part rather fast.

This all happened around 9:30 PM Newfoundland time.

Good catches from the other end of 'The Rock' there! At the moment, I'm listening to CBC Radio1, St John's, via 6160 kHz...

These are all really low power, but would be amazing catches! I used to pick up their RFO station, when it was on 1375 KHz MW, from here in eastern Ontario.
