St. Louis Cardinals on WHO

I wasn't aware until the other night that WHO in Des Moines was on the St. Louis Cardinals Radio Network. I'm not sure if that was just for the play-offs or the station has been on the net for some time. With the team originating their broadcasts on KMOX, that gives them two 50,000-watt stations on their line.

The Cardinals' Baseball Network is huge but has only one 50kW AM, and that is KMOX. WHO takes occasional overflow games from its Clear Channel sister, KXNO.

Thanks for the information. I remember the Cardinals radio network as having many affiliates. I recall once attempting to get a list of the affiliates they had, but a team official declined providing a complete list and that struck me as strange. Having KMOX really gets the games across the miles especially at night although for a couple of seasons fairly recently that station didn't have the Cards.
