Mega Media acquired a license for an LPTV station on Channel 6, with the audio on 87.7 FM. Pulse 87 is expanding to St Louis!

I know at least one person who will be listening to St Louis' Pulse 87.

Pulse 87 expanding to St Louis is an April Fools joke. My relationship wasn't. This is a radio board, not a cry about your ex board, so I'll leave it at that.
 
H/o a sec...Didn't Energy 98 start here as a pirate station? I remember litening back in '03 when their sweepers mention "dance hits from St. Louis"
 
I believe Energy 98 started in Seattle because St Louis has a 98.1, Y98. The reason it's called Energy 98 is because the pirate was on 98.1.
 
The original station ID did however state "Energy 98.1 Beaverton / St. Louis" though - IIRC one of the financial backers at the time was located in STL.
And, Beaverton was in Oregon, AFAIK.
